A Message From

As we speak with donors, friends and neighbors, many have asked what they can do to help Health First respond to COVID-19 during this unprecedented time in our history.   Please consider a pledge or cash gift to the Health First Foundation Associate Relief Fund.

The Associate Relief Fund (ARF) provides financial support to Health First associates who are experiencing financial hardship as the result of a crisis. A crisis is an extreme situation that cannot be controlled or predicted, such as a home destroyed by fire or natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornados or floods. A crisis can also include an unexpected hardship to an individual or family, such as a debilitating medical condition. The fund was designed to cover essential needs such as a mortgage payment, rent or utilities. The fund does not cover non-essential expenses, such as cable, satellite, internet or cell phones. During the global pandemic, eligibility requirements have been waived, and all Health First associates are eligible to apply through the Health First Human Resources department.

Your gift will help someone experiencing a crisis or financial hardship – and will directly impact those who are on the front lines at Health First, giving their all every day to care for our community.

For more than 80 years, Health First has been committed to improving the wellness and health of Brevard County. To learn how Health First gives back to our community, visit HF.org

Health First associates are the heart of our not-for-profit healthcare system and Health First is as committed to caring for their well-being as we are for you - our customers and supporters.
When Brevard County schools first closed, Health First pledged to provide child care at no cost to provide peace of  mind to associates whose child care options may have dwindled due to the pandemic. Within a three-day period, four locations were transformed to provide childcare in groups of 10 or fewer, and lunches, dinners and snacks were arranged for the children. This commitment has continued now that Brevard County Schools are closed through the remainder of the school year.

Please consider a gift to the Health First COVID-19 Crisis Relief Fund today.

Ensuring our ability to make these commitments to our caregivers at a moment's notice is possible because of philanthropic support from community members like you. As a not-for-profit healthcare system, your support and partnership are more important than ever and allow us to continue our mission of improving the wellness and health of our community.

Please know that 100% of your donation is tax deductible and will be used for Brevard County only.

A gift of any amount is welcomed and deeply appreciated. If you've already made a gift, thank you! We are truly grateful for your support.
